The client is an industry-leading manufacturer of aluminium transportation equipment and is searching for Manufacturing Engineering Technicians to support our growing operation in Story City, IA.

Qualifications:

• AAS in Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with CAD or other design software, Excel, and Word.
• Experience with various manufacturing/metal fabrication methods, including:
• Aluminium and steel welding
• CNC machining, punching, bending, cutting, etc.
• Production layout, process flow optimization, work cell design, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent work ethic and motivation to succeed.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers at every level of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Manufacturing management in the design and optimization of production processes, including focus on manufacturing methods, work cell layouts, labor distribution, and material utilization.
• Coordinate with Production, Materials, Design Engineering, and Sales personnel to ensure smooth and efficient operations throughout the manufacturing process.
• Review order accuracy and manufacturability of made-to-order products.
• Assemble manufacturing routers, calling out specific and unique requirements for each component, and providing guidance and clarification to production personnel as needed.
• Participate in day-to-day activities to optimize product quality, employee safety, and production efficiency.

· Monday to Friday

· Expected hours: 50 per week

Salary: $20.43 - $24.61 per hour
